Born in Australia, I became a teenage beauty queen in the 50's. I married young. My husband became
depressive, which manifest early in the realtionship with jealous rages. As I believed in commitment, I tried to give constancy
and love for 27 years until we split up.
We had 3 children and brought them up living a back to the earth lifestyle. We travelled for one
year around the coast of Australia in a large caravan, finally settling in a small fishing village, where we ran a craft shop
and tea room, welcoming tourists to the area.
- My oldest son, Kym, became a bouncer, turned drug dealer. He was killed during a power struggle in a
car crash.
- My beautiful blonde middle daughter, Karen, caught Leukemia 3 months later and recovered after many
years.
- My youngest daughter, Amanda, represented Australia in 'Miss Asia and South Pacific' in the mid 80's,
and then worked as a model in Paris for 10 years. She lived in Kenya for many years but has now returned to Australia.
After my marriage failure I left Australia and moved to London completely alone, where I worked as a nanny
for a year, travelling around the world with the family. After I met my present husband I worked in and around London in catering
for 10 years, and travelled extensively.
My forte has always been to encourage others and point out their strengths. When I started writing poetry,
all my life journeys, thoughts and beliefs came through the words. With my songs I want to capture the mind and imagination
in a net of words and melody and draw it towards the true beauty of the soul, calling on the experience, wisdom, imagination
and positive attitude to express reality.
In my files there are enough poems and songs to present one a week for the next three years. During the last
few years I have turned to writing fiction, based on reality, in the hope that I can inspire spirituality.
